Biography

Ms. Coleman has spent most her life in Tallahassee, Florida, and is very passionate about serving her community. She is a Past President of the Legal Aid Foundation of Tallahassee, she served as Secretary of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend, the Secretary of Project Embrace Inc., a Director of the Tallahassee Bar Association Young Lawyer Section, Past Historian and Member of the Tallahassee Barristers Association, Committee Member of the Florida Bar's Registered Paralegal Committee, Class III Fellow with the Wm. Reece Florida Bar Leadership Academy, an Associate Member of the William H. Stafford Inns of Court, and served as an Adjunct Professor at Florida A&M University, where she taught corporate and individual income tax in the School of Business and Industry.

Ms. Coleman is also affiliated with the business leagues in Tallahassee, she was a member of the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, the Women's Leadership Council of the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce, and Business Network International. Ms. Coleman has served as a mentor for countless youth in Leon County's Public Schools as well as law students at Florida State University College of Law and Florida A&M University College of Law. Ms. Coleman has been recognized by the National Bar Association as a recipient of the 2016-2017 Top 40 Under 40 Nation's Best Advocates, and she received the distinguished award and recognition as the 2016 Nation's Best Advocate. However, her greatest achievements continue to be her three children.
